The Move To Unity

So I have decided to abandon the idea of creating the game completely from scratch and use Unity. There are many reasons for this the first being that I will not have to spend as much time on the core engine mechanics if I use Unity, which has most of them implemented already. There are other concepts that I am working on right now, such as multiplayer, that would be easier to implement with unity’s networking system.

Speaking of multiplayer, I have decided that there will be three game modes for playing the main game, single player, co-op hosted multiplayer, and playing on a server with others. The first two are mostly going to be done just to get the basics for the game done before moving to a wider multiplayer environment.

I will post more on this once I get some of the existing game code ported to unity, thanks for reading,
