Community Update: 2018/03/10

So it’s been a while since I posted something, so just going to post a bit of a catch up post for now explaining some things that have changed over the last couple of months.

Firstly, due to some re-arranging of how things work and some software upgrades the minecraft servers can now be integrated with the web server. This opens the doors to some unique ideas, like spending gems earned on stream on in game perks, which I will be setting up and experimenting with in the near future.

Secondly, SynthShade our Discord bot is back online. He’s not up to full functionalty yet but for now the chat relay between the community discord and minecraft servers has been fixed.

Finally, just a small update, on my game Esmiylara. I have finished the first version 0.0.1 which was mostly the early development of basic systems. I have since started versions 0.0.2 which is dedicated to mapping and movement systems, and version 0.0.3 which is dedicated to players, npcs, and other “actor” related goodies. More information on these new features will be coming as they are developed further.

Thanks for reading,
